Fashion & Design Experience:

I have 5 years of experience in the fashion industry from modeling to pageants to fashion design. I've been told growing up that I am a very crafty and creative

person. When I was younger I would always make different jewelry out of materials I could find in my house, or make clothes for my barbies out of t-shirts I cut up

from my closet. I started out with making stuffed animals with cheap fabrics and hot glue at the age of 8. When I was in 6th grade I finally got my first sewing

machine. I started off by making simple tops, these tops I still wear to this day. In 8th grade I did my first ever pageant and participated/ watched their runway

event and fell in love with the crazy flashy fashion. I started to make even bigger projects like dresses and trains which I then would wear for my pageant runway

events or photo shoots. One of my favorite and most popular designs that I've made was a brown, green, and white striped dress I crocheted for my Miss Eco

Teen USA pageant and represented my state wearing this dress. I got so many compliments on it and so many other girls participating in the pageant wanted me

to make them one. These girls were from Chicago, Ohio, New York, Georgia, Washington, Colorado, and Arizona. It made me so happy knowing that people were

wanting to wear my design. Since then I've done a lot of crocheting, making tops and dresses that I can wear casually. I've recently gotten back to my sewing

machine after taking a small break and I'm trying something new. By new, I mean even flashier and crazier designs, to make an amazing unique statement

piece. I hope people will be impressed with my new designs and I am excited for the great opportunities coming my way.
